Testing is only useful when it's genuine. These are the principles every business, tester and campaign on TestLancer follows.
What we do
- Match tasks to testers whose profiles fit the requirements
- Verify profiles and devices where campaigns require it
- Review every submission before approval
- Reject duplicate, copied, edited or low-effort work
- Remove accounts that break the rules
- Support businesses and testers throughout a campaign
What we don't do
- Sell reviews, ratings, installs or downloads
- Run fake likes, follows, sign-ups or votes
- Guarantee Play Store or App Store approval
- Guarantee search or store rankings
- Guarantee positive feedback
- Guarantee bug-free software
- Charge testers or freelancers to join or access tasks
Reviews and ratings
Feedback collected through TestLancer is private feedback for the business. It is not a review or rating service. If a tester chooses to post a public review anywhere, it must reflect their own genuine experience and comply with the policies of that platform. Businesses must not ask testers to post reviews, ratings or specific opinions as a condition of a task.
Review and reputation work
Our reputation services only work with reviews from a business's real customers: official review invitations, monitoring reports, reply drafts the business approves, and listing checks. We do not write, buy, post, rate or remove reviews, and members are never asked to review a business they haven't genuinely used. Mystery shopping reports are private feedback for the business, not public reviews.
Social media and influencer work
Marketing tasks are done on accounts the business owns or authorises, using each platform's official access tools — never shared passwords. We don't sell or run followers, likes, views, subscribers, comments or engagement pods. Creators must clearly disclose every paid or gifted post as an ad or paid partnership, and UGC must show genuine use of the product.
Data and evidence
Businesses should only request information that is necessary for the test. Tasks must not ask testers for passwords to personal accounts, payment card details, government ID numbers or other sensitive personal information. Evidence submitted by testers is shared with the business running the campaign for the purpose of that test.
Acceptable campaigns and tasks
We don't run campaigns or freelance tasks for products or activities that are illegal, deceptive, or designed to manipulate platforms, rankings or other users — including fake engagement, CAPTCHA solving, mass account creation or academic work submitted as someone else's. We may decline or stop any campaign that doesn't meet these standards.
